Pallavi Gunalan is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and recovering engineer whose sharp wit, self-deprecating storytelling, and unique perspective have made her one of the most exciting voices in comedy today. A nationally touring comedian, Pallavi has performed across the United States and internationally in India.
Her writing credits include years as a writer for Lovett or Leave It with Crooked Media and contributions to The Daily Zeitgeist. As a performer, she has appeared on Dropout TV's Smartypants and Dirty Laundry. She has shared the stage with Jay Leno, Arsenio Hall, Maria Bamford, Moses Storm, and Todd Barry, and has appeared at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, SF Sketchfest, and the New York Comedy Festival.
Beyond performing, Pallavi is the co-producer of the Facial Recognition Comedy showcase at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Her work has been recognized by The New York Times, BuzzFeed, The Hindu, and WhoHaha.
